The Photo Above: The Milmont Park Post Office in 1941, at the corner of Milmont and Belmont Avenues. The Building is now used for banking purposes. The Post office was established in September 4, 1930 and was discontinued on March 31, 1958. Originally known as Milmont, the Park was added when it was found that another town in upstate Pennsylvania was also called Milmont. The 1900 census for Milmont is included in the Folsom census of 1900. Milmont was established in 1890. Make sure to Sign or View our Guest Book!

CENSUS RECORDS:

The 1900 census for Milmont is now complete. The census taker did not give Milmont a separate section in the census. The Census for Milmont is included in the Folsom Section of the 1900 census. The 1900 Census can be found on the Folsom Page.

 

DIRECTORY RECORDS:

No directories exist for Milmont in the late 1890's and early 1900's. The town was considered way too small to have it's own directory. The 1907 Directory of Ridley Park includes Milmont and that Directory can be viewed below.
